Michigan is good people. It is also good beer. I am such a lucky girl to have found lovely and generous hosts in Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids. The first time in new cities is always a challenge when it comes to show attendance, but support was high the past few days.

Grand Rapids has its priorities straight.

We went to a record number of breweries in two days. Vivant Brewery and Arbor Brewing were the highlights of my tasting experience. Founders Brewing had a lovely open mic, and the host Nicolas James Thomasma was kind enough to give me an extended slot AND a spare bed to sleep on. He and his girlfriend Clouds rescued this kitten last week from underneath their porch. I was lucky enough to bottle feed him and get my kitten fix on this morning. They are taking such great care of Bliss, and they plan on keeping him! Now it's off to Chicago!
