Bitches, you can steal my shit, in exchange for a fish taco.

My friend The Oatmeal doing a presentation on animals that were launched into space

Oh the delights of west coast! Can we talk about the fish tacos? I never even thought a fish taco was a good idea until I accidentally ate one last year. Now I am hooked (no pun intended).

I packed many shows into the four days while I was in the SoCal arena. I played several shows with Marian Call, my indie songwriter hero, plus I got to share the stage with a robot. This robot had a song called Waffle Putty. If you ever have the chances to see Satanic Puppeteer Orchestra, just go. It's a spectacle to behold. Also, Birdie Rae is a delightful uke songstress with witty lyrics and strong vocal chops. I've enjoyed all the musicians I've played with so far!

Someone found a bottle of w00tstout 2.0

I took an evening out to go to w00tstock, a nerdy variety show that takes place on the eve of Comic Con. There were performances/presentations by Wil Wheaton, Paul and Storm, Marian Call, The Oatmeal, and Adam Savage (of Mythbusters). PLUS we saw the original actor who played Yako from Animaniacs sing all the countries of the world...something mostly people of my generation would appreciate. And wine. I drank a lot of wine that night.

Birdie Rae on uke. I later opened for the robot (aka Satanic Puppeteer Orchestra) at Comic Con after party.

I swam in the Pacific for the first time. Previously I have only dipped my toe, but the warm currents are making it particularly pleasant this time around. Venice Beach is sight to behold. The beach culture makes for good people watching and tasty fish tacos.

NOMZ. House concerts have turned into Cake Wars. Guys, no more. I can't eat cake and sit in a car for 6 hours a day!

Today I played at Google HQ for the second time. I love the lunchtime crowd there. You'd be surprised how many dancing girls I can rally at that place. Granted, one was six years old, but still. I have some lovely fans who come out and support. I hope to keep returning in years to come. I hear there is Fajita Wednesday on campus, so next time I'll aim for that, cause you know, FISH TACOS.

After the Luxe Paws benefit I got to name these brothers: Banjo and Kazoo!

It's up the west coast I wind over the next week. Eureka, Portland, Bend, Seattle, and Vancouver get ready! I've got plans to hug a Redwood and go for a run. I am feeling squishy. Thanks fish tacos.
